Lavanderia means laundry room in Italian. This jug is inspired by the tiles in the laundry room in my family home here in Perugia. A sculptural piece as an ode to ancestry and tradition—a smidge different from my usual work, I felt deeply called to adorn this piece (and change its usual handle shape) with this intricate design, to honour my heritage, and specifically my grandparents, who stewarded this home and infused it with their essence.
