hello,

My name is Isabella.

I came to Earth for shapes and colour and beauty.
I’m also partial to the sun on my skin and butterfly-pea-flower tea and listening to the same song on repeat. I’m quite taken by birds and sometimes wish I could be one. Mostly just to fly and to sing.

As a child I wondered why anything existed, and why there wasn’t just nothing instead. Now I’m an adult, and I spend my days creating. What I know is that making art makes existing more fun. Making art, making beautiful things that other people connect to and use and adorn their homes with? It makes it all feel exciting and worth it; like there is something or perhaps many somethings to explore and consequently translate through what I create. 

That’s why I’m here. For now I am a human, writing words and making art.
